A Joey Essex fan has had the word ‘reem’ tattooed across her forehead in honour of the reality TV star — but not all is as it seems.
Apprentice tattoo artist, Jess Sproule, 18, is a huge fan of the former The Only Way is Essex personality.
And when he shocked the nation by appearing on Love Island 2024 as a bombshell, she decided to commemorate the revival of his famous compliment.

‘Reem’ is English slang for something good, nice or cool, and originated in Essex. It even became a song in 2011.
Jess decided to complete the non-permanent inking on her manager, Lucy, as a way to boost their social media engagement while Love Island was on.
The hour-long session was booked in an Ink Kingz Tattoo & Piercing Academy in Wakefield on 8 July.
“The Joey Essex obsession is real,” Jess told What’s The Jam.
“It took about an hour because none of the pens were working.

“We did it as a joke for engagement, it’s not permanent.”
Love Island and Joey Essex fans were blown away by the non-permanent tattoo.
One said: “I’m all for being reem but this is too far.”

Phoebe added: “Oh my god, she did not.”
Caitlin stated: “This has crossed the line.”
Frank said: “No amount of money could make me do that.”
Another added: “I refuse to believe this is real.”
