Jeremy Clarkson’s £40,000 country pub umbrellas left rainwater pouring over the decking.
Customers drinking outside at The Farmer’s Dog watched as members of staff struggled with them.
They tried to drain huge pools of water collecting in the umbrella system.

The former Top Gear host had a public falling out with pub experts Sue and Rachel Hawkins over the pricey outdoor addition on the Amazon Prime series Clarkson’s Farm.

He was originally against the expensive umbrellas for his decking area.
The TV star, 65, eventually folded and has now got them up and running.
But they seem to be creating a bit of an issue.
Wez Marlow visited the pub in Burford, Oxfordshire, last Thursday (12 Jun) for his birthday.

The 41-year-old captured footage of a huge downpour which created huge pools of water in the material.
“Once the channels between them are sorted then yes they will be worth the investment,” Wez told What’s The Jam.

“Fortunately, it didn’t ruin our experience there, we found the food was really good.”
But members of the public were left shocked by the setup.
Charlie James said: “£40,000 well spent.”
Craig John added: “£40 grand for a rain collecting rain protection system.”

Dawn said: “Think Mr Clarkson needs to invest in a new solid roof.”
Willum added: “Cannot catch a break.”
The Farmer’s Dog has been approached for a comment.
