A mum who bagged a mystery Chinese takeaway for just £4 on Too Good To Go has described the bargain as a “game-changer”.
Dayna Cohen couldn’t believe her luck when she opened the bag to find it crammed with a feast from a local restaurant.
The mum-of-one, from Glasgow spotted the deal, offered by Cathay Cuisine, on 11 August and decided to give it a try.

Inside was a huge salt and chilli box packed with chips, chicken and a chicken ball, plus a saucy selection including chicken curry, fried rice, Chow Mein noodles and a beef dish.
The 35-year-old had been using the app for a while but says this latest haul was one of her best yet.
“It was an absolute feast,” she told What’s The Jam.

“It honestly felt life-changing – so much food for just £4, I couldn’t believe it.

“This is definitely a game-changer for anyone who loves a treat but also wants to save money and reduce waste.
“It’s proof you can still have a treat, save money and help the planet all in one go.”
Easily worth around £15 to £20 if bought fresh from the menu, the haul was more than enough to share – with Dayna even handing one piping-hot box to a group of young people she passed so nothing went to waste.

The mum, who works as a mentoring coordinator, said: “It’s definitely up there with the best.
“I’ve had a lot though and I definitely have had some incredible finds to date.
“Not only was it delicious but it was generous in size and had a great mix of dishes – perfect for sharing.”
The mum regularly shares Too Good To Go finds on TikTok, and says this one had people “going wild” in the comments – with followers agreeing it was the best bag they’d ever seen.
She added: “People went wild for it on TikTok.
“I had loads of comments saying it was the best TGTG bag they’d seen and asking where they could get one like it.
“I love the thrill of not knowing what you’ll get, and it’s a great way to discover new places.
“Mysteries and bargain hunting are my thing!”
