The heart-stopping moment a dog was rescued from rough sea conditions has been shared online.
The dramatic footage shows the pet breathless and battling the surf.
As the rescue team approaches, it looks desperately at them, appearing exhausted from the strong tide.

In the video, which has been viewed 647,000 times online, the RNLI rescue team was able to pluck the dog – called Bruno – from the water, pulling him to safety, as reported by What’s The Jam.
The crew speak to Bruno as they lift him onto the boat and keep a firm hold of his lead and collar.
He can be seen sitting by their legs as they stroke his back and call him a “good lad” following the ordeal.
Bruno has since been returned to his owners safely, and the team from RNLI Llandudno Lifeboat have been hailed as heroes online.
Sharing the footage online, a spokesperson said: “Bruno’s day at the coast took a wild turn.
“We launched to reports of a dog struggling to stay afloat in the water.
“The crew quickly reached Bruno and brought him to safety – tired, but wagging his tail again.
“If your dog enters the water and you’ve tried to retrieve them by calling their name, don’t go in after them.
“Call 999 or 112 and ask for the coastguard.”
The post has attracted over 11,000 likes and hundreds of comments from impressed viewers.
