A hotel, which was bombed by the IRA while Margaret Thatcher was staying, is selling off its old furniture.

The Grand Hotel in Brighton has been selling beds, bedside tables, wardrobes, desks and chairs to raise cash.

The property – which also starred in Only Fools and Horses – is kitting itself out ahead of a refurbishment.
