Morrisons is giving football fans free drinks throughout this summer’s international tournament – but there’s one simple rule shoppers will need to follow.
The supermarket has announced that customers can claim a complimentary drink in its cafés nationwide from June 11 until June 28, with no purchase required.
To get the freebie, fans simply need to turn up wearing the football shirt of a nation competing in the tournament.

Supporters can choose from a range of hot drinks, including tea, americanos, lattes and cappuccinos, or swap it for a dispensed fizzy drink instead, as reported by What’s The Jam.
The offer is available all day and applies in Morrisons cafés across the UK.
There are a few conditions, however.
Customers must be dining in, can only claim one free drink per day and must be wearing apparel representing a participating nation.
The giveaway comes as football fever builds ahead of a busy summer of international action.
Alongside the free drinks promotion, Morrisons has also unveiled a special Match Day menu inspired by classic stadium and American-style food.
The limited-edition range includes a towering Match Day Burger priced at £12, featuring two quarter-pounder beef burgers, cheese, bacon and hash browns, served with chips and coleslaw.
Fans can also tuck into a Loaded Hot Dog topped with onion rings, nacho cheese sauce and crispy onions.
For those recovering after a late-night kick-off, cafés will continue serving breakfast favourites including bacon sandwiches and freshly brewed coffee from 8am.
But adults aren’t the only ones getting a football-themed freebie.
Morrisons has also confirmed it will hand out free oranges to children on selected England and Scotland match days.
The giveaway is inspired by the traditional half-time orange slices handed out to young footballers during weekend matches.
Children will be able to pick up free fruit from Morrisons Market Street counters while stocks last.
Scotland supporters can claim oranges on June 14, 19 and 24, while England fans can collect them on June 17, 23 and 27.
The supermarket said the initiative builds on its long-running scheme of providing free fruit to children, which was first introduced in 2018 to encourage healthier eating.
The latest promotions come as supermarkets increasingly look to tap into major sporting events with special offers, themed food ranges and family-friendly giveaways.
For football fans, however, the biggest draw may be the chance to grab a free coffee or soft drink simply by pulling on their team’s shirt.
