And with a width of 10 inches, it could be heading for a national record.
The dish is on sale at the Old Bush Wombourne, Wolverhampton.
“It’s the biggest one I’ve ever seen and I’ve had some cobs,” Hannah Walker told What’s The Jam.
“It was a seven out of 10 as the bread was a bit dry and needed more meat.”
The pub grub also caused a bit of debate over what it should actually be called.
From bread roll to teacake, the scran has many different titles.
But for Hannah, “it’s a cob, it will never be anything else”.
She added: “Some call it a tea cake which is ridiculous as cake is sweet.
“Teacakes are chocolate covered marshmallows.
“People keep saying a cob is a horse – not in my book.”
