Britain’s most romantic car number plate is up for grabs for a heart-fluttering £140,000.
The “LOV 1” registration is being sold just after Valentine’s Day.
And such a purchase could be the perfect way to woo a partner.

The average price of a new car is £40,000 in the UK.
So, you could buy three motors for the same price as the reg plate and still have some change.
Another romantic plate is also on sale at the same time.
The “II US” registration is up for grabs at £65,000.
Car expert Rob Hubbard, said: “With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, a romantic registration number could be the perfect way to show the discerning motorist in your life just how much you care.”
Distinctive personalised car plates can sell for big money, as reported by Whats The Jam.
Last November “JK 1” fetched £330,000.
And in the same month, “1F” was snapped up for over £900,000 following a bidding war at a live auction.
Bidding started at £300,000 and ended at £800,000, which rose to £905,000 after fees.
The new romantic plates are on sale with Iconic Auctioneers on 20 February at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry.
All registration numbers included in the sale are offered on a retention certificate for ease of transfer to the new owner’s vehicle.
