Two Brits were left gobsmacked after getting stranded in a river – before being “rescued” by none other than Batman.
Rapper Antonio BandoMan couldn’t believe his eyes when a passer-by dressed as the caped crusader suddenly appeared to help.
The bizarre moment happened after the 29-year-old drove his red Mini Cooper into a river in Bourton-on-the-Water in the Cotswolds on 12 April.

After successfully crossing once, his second attempt went badly wrong – leaving the car stuck in the water.
That’s when “Batman” made his dramatic entrance.
“I was in total disbelief,” Antonio, from Cheltenham, told What’s The Jam.
“As Batman popped up I started filming.”
The hilarious encounter quickly went viral online, racking up more than 490,000 views and over 97,000 likes.
Sadly, the superhero wasn’t able to save the day – but help soon arrived in the form of the Marines, who pulled the car free.
Antonio said: “The marines came and helped me and it felt like sweet relief.
“As I was not able to afford a tow truck back home.
“I was in my car driving through the river in Bourton-on-the-water.
“The first time I went through successfully and the 2nd time I failed and got stuck in the river.”
Viewers were left in stitches by the surreal scenes.
One person said: “Bat mobile is in for its MOT.”
Another viewer said: “Bat mobile wasn’t ULEZ so on foot he is.”
A third person added: “This is such a fever dream.”
One viewer said: “Telling me you’re going to randomly walk around in a Batman costume and not even be in character.”
Another person added: “Calling Batman ‘mush’ has to be top five moments.”
