Balenciaga have been mocked for the latest outrageous accessory as they sell fake festival wristbands for £2,900.

The luxurious French fashion brand released the bands as part of their new Couture collection.

Fans of the brand will have the chance to look like they’ve spent a week dancing in a muddy field for a high price.

The accessory is called a ‘Raver Used Bracelet’ and is very similar to a band given to ticket holders at festivals such as Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds.

The insanely priced item, which sits at an eye-watering £2,900, comes in pink, black and blue polyester.

The item which was manufactured in France, is made from metallised polyester, cotton and sterling silver 925, as reported by What’s The Jam.

The brand described the band as: “This hand-embroidered bracelet uses various artisanal techniques found in the Lesage archives dating back to 1850: seed stitch, drawn thread work, point de Boulogne, satin stitch, stem stitch, and front-and-back chain stitch.

“These embroidery styles, used individually or in combination, create a wide range of textures and effects, making each piece unique and intricate.

“This distressed version requires the skills of an artist to imbue it with a worn and aged look.

“This manufacturing process requires a full day’s work for each piece.

“The size is unique, as the bracelet is fully adjustable.”

Festivalgoers and fashion lovers were shocked by the new accessory.

Adriano said: “No front, I love Balenciaga, but why is the price so high?”
