Balenciaga is flogging a range of tacky ‘I love Paris’ tourist gifts from a £1,150 poncho to £70 postcards.
The trendy fashion house’s range is aimed to mimic tat bought on holiday.
They feature landmarks in the French capital.
The most expensive item is a black plastic hooded poncho which is a whopping £1,150.

It has ‘I love Paris & Balenciaga’ on the front.
The bum bag is red and has a Paris logo printed all over it.
It is made of polyester and has one zipped pocket.
Also in the Souvenir Shop range – ironically all made in Italy – is a pair of £320 flip flops.

They came with either the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe or Sacré-Cœur on them.
A charm key ring made of brass and steel posts £325.
It has Balenciaga and the Eiffel Tower on it.

An ‘I love Paris’ white porcelain mug costs £70.
For the same price, Balenciaga is also selling a set of seven postcards.
The paper cards have landmarks on the front and a blank on the back.
One shopper said: “It looks like tat you’d pick up from a stall on the street.
“You’d expect to pay a few quid for them, not several hundred.”
It has been launched to coincide with its Haute Couture show for the Paris Fashion Week.
Balenciaga is known for its wacky designs.
Last November, it started selling a skirt that looked like a towel wrapped around the wearer for £695.
The fashion line is popular with A-listers like Kim Kardashian and Euro 2024 reject, Jack Grealish.
Yet it faced a backlash in 2022 for using kids and bondage bears in an ad campaign, as reported by What’s The Jam.
