A woman was left “speechless” after her Vinted clothes delivery arrived in a dirty chips packet.
Caroline Butler was excited to get her hands on a second-hand Adidas T-shirt for £3 – but it’s packaging left something to be desired.
Opening the video on camera while filming for her thrifty finds social media page, the Norfolk native shared the peculiar packaging choice.

Caroline revealed her order came in an old McCain frozen oven chips packet – with chips and crumbs still inside.
“When I collected it, I laughed,” the social media manager, told What’s The Jam.
“I like to think that I’m a pretty easy-going person, and like to see the humour in situations – so collecting a chip bag with my Vinted order made me chuckle.
“But I was concerned as to how the item was going to be inside.”
Opening up the parcel on camera, Caroline shows her address label was stuck to the back of the chips packet, while it otherwise looks like a normal bag of frozen fries.

She says: “Is it genius or is it just rude? I don’t know.”
Opening it up, she finds her T-shirt is secure within a second plastic bag – with crumbs and residue from the chip packet visible on the outside.
Luckily, the top wasn’t soiled – though the packaging shocked Caroline.

One person commented: “Can’t decide if I’m impressed or horrified.”
“I’m sure at this stage Vinted sellers are just looking at ways to out-package each other!”
another user guessed.
Someone else added: “I can’t believe they didn’t wash the chip bag??!! Or at least turn it inside out.”
But other viewers were more supportive of the ‘eco’ choice.
One said: “Recycling is recycling, let’s not knock it!”
“I was sent something in a green recycling bag, I received the goods in tact so all was good, as long as I receive them, not fussed what it comes in,” another user agreed.
Someone else confessed: “I think genius, I’ve sent it in a cornflakes box before and a Domino box.”
