A woman has left social media users horrified after sharing a video of a supermarket chocolate egg that she claims was filled with insects.
Evangelina Báez was filming a TikTok video (@evangelinaabez ) when she decided to open one of the Easter treats that she received on Sunday 31 March.
In the clip, which has 1.1m views so far, the university student breaks the egg on the counter and is amazed by the amount of chocolates hidden inside.

However, the excitement soon comes to a halt when bugs start flying out of the sweets, as reported on What’s The Jam.
A moth immediately flies towards her face as she screams: “A bug!”
The creator can be seen screaming and shouting at the camera saying: “Look look!”
She then grabs some of the chocolates and sweets and shows them to the camera.
Something that looks like webs can be seen inside the egg, as well as what appears to be dead flies and more moths.
Evangelina claims that the insects have “remains of larvae” attached to them.
The 39-second-clip was captioned: “Everything was going well at Easter until… it came with an interesting surprise,” and has gathered over 33,300 likes and 700 comments from fans.
Melina said: “Make a claim now.”
Emi commented: “That was a surprise.”
Maruchan added: “It must be because of the nuts, in the nuts sometimes moths develop.”
Someone else wrote: “I would have screamed and jumped up.”
Nancy said: “That egg is from last year for sure.”
Lucia added: “That’s why I don’t like to buy Easter eggs.”
Blanca wrote: “No I’m dying.”
The case study has not revealed which supermarket the egg is from.
