Adrenaline junkies can now take part in a unique bungee but it means jumping without a rope – 141ft to the ground.
The death-defying ride was opened earlier this month and people have, quite literally, jumped at the chance to have a go.
Named VERTIGO, the ride has been shared to TikTok, (@velocityvalley ), where is has gathered over 20.2m views so far.

At the beginning, the person will still have all the safety equipment and checks, to make the ride as safe as possible, including a rope, as reported on What’s The Jam.
However, once the team pull the person off the platform and into mid-air, they then release the rope as they plummet to the bottom.
Not to worry – the daredevils will land on a trampoline that is located directly below the ride.
Velocity Valley Adrenaline Park, New Zealand, has claimed that the ride– which opened on Tuesday (19 March) – will be “the longest four seconds of your life.”
However, there are some special requirements for those who take part.

You must be at least 10 years old and weigh between 45-110kg (99-242lbs).
In the clip shared to social media, a woman can be seen sat in the harness as a worker pulls her off the platform and into mid-air.
He then gives her the option of counting down but she asks him to just do it at his own time.

The staff member then asks her a question before releasing the rope and letting her free fall.
The camera points to the ground where she can be seen landing safely in a huge, bouncy trampoline.
