A man has gone viral and left social media users stumped after he revealed his homemade boat created from ice.
It can even float on water with the weight of a person operating the vessel.
Ivan Karpitsky, from Belarus, carved the boat from several chunks of ice.
Ivan began the project by glueing together large sections of ice.

He then built the hull of the boat and crafted the superstructure using steel tubing for support.
Next, he added the back paddle wheels and placed a rudder in the middle of the boat.

But, the spinning rudder is only for show and it doesn’t control the direction of the boat.
These are the only places where he used anything other than ice.

To launch the boat, Ivan cut off the ice underneath the hull and pushed it into the water.
Ivan worked on the boat on the banks of the Tsnyanskoe reservoir outside Minsk, Russia.
He has previously made headlines in the past for snow castles, snow boats and other incredible works of art made from unique materials.

He appears to steer it as it drives through the lake.
Fans were left stunned by his latest project.
