A man has revealed how he spent a whopping £58 on a single meal after shopping at what’s been dubbed the UK’s most expensive supermarket.
Carmie Sellitto, 26, shared the eye-watering experience in a TikTok video posted to @touchdalight which has racked up more than 522,000 views.
In the clip, the London-based content creator visits Daylesford Organic, a high-end store where everything on sale is organic.

As he browses the aisles, Carmie points out a string of jaw-dropping prices, including yoghurt costing £7.50 and coconut water priced at £4.25.
He also takes a look around the shop’s more unusual features, including a dedicated chilled cheese room.
But things really add up when he heads to the till.
Despite only picking up ingredients for a single meal and dessert, his total comes to a staggering £58, as reported by Whats The Jam.
The viral video has since sparked a fierce debate online, with viewers split over whether the price is justified.

One person said: “£7.50 for yogurt I don’t spend that on wine”

However, others were quick to defend the cost.
One person said: “£58 really isn’t that much for a fully organic meal, I’d have spent that in the cheese section alone.”
Meanwhile, one user said: “Definitely think that’s worth it.
“I thought it would be much more than that.
“That’s a good price for organic food and you’ve got quite a lot there.”
