A young mum was warned not to go “out in the wind” after buying trendy, extra wide-leg jeans.
Lauren Timms ordered a pair of blue jeans for £5 from the online second-hand shop, Vinted.
The style is in fashion this year.

But the 26-year-old was left in hysterics after trying them on and seeing that she was swimming in denim.
“The jeans looked fine when I got them out of the bag,” Lauren told What’s the Jam.
“I tried them on and my husband laughed at me and I was offended.
“Then I looked at myself in the mirror and I couldn’t believe it.
“They were so big.

“I ordered extra wide-leg jeans, so it’s not the seller’s fault, but I never expected them to be that big.”
The hospitality worker shared a clip of her trying on the jeans on social media and the post has racked up more than 1m views.
Some fashion fans warned Lauren, of Birmingham, to avoid going out in the wind.

Others joked that she could fit a family in the legs and compared her to Willy Wonka’s character, Violet Beauregarde, in the scene where she turns into a large blueberry.
Lauren has now sold the jeans for £5 to another Vinted buyer.
She added: “People’s comments were really making me laugh.
“They were saying I should start an AirBnB because I could fit a family in the jeans.
“They were saying I’d get blown away.”
Sven said: “My advice is not to go out wearing them on a windy day without adequate insurance.”
Another joked: “Ok, so you know in the original Willy Wonka where the girl swells up like a giant blueberry.”
Karina added: “They are bigger than my wedding dress and that was big.”
A fourth viewer said: “Nothing could have prepared me for how wide they were.”
Cheryl added: “Be great to wear on a plane in case of emergencies.”
