A woman has gone viral after sharing the moment her head literally began steaming.
Tracey Monique, 54, has long battled with the effects of menopause, more specifically, hot flushes, also known as hot flashes.
According to the NHS, these are a common symptom and bring on a sudden feeling of hot or cold in the face, neck and chest.

For Tracey, though, who also suffers from alopecia, this caused rather a stir while she was watching a sports game – as her head literally began steaming.
In a clip, which has racked up 773,000 views and over 18,000 likes, she shows the uncanny moment.
“The flashes have intensified,” the author told What’s The Jam.
“They started out light, but now I have them all the time.
“I can hardly get out of the shower and get dressed before I have another one.”

Tracey is shown eating a snack while sitting in the bleachers, trying to enjoy the sports game in front of her.
She giggles, before saying: “I’m hot”, as a cloud of steam continuously emits from her head into the air.
Her friend is heard saying the word “flash” over and over again, as Tracey laughs.

She captioned the post: “Hot flashes don’t play fair.”
Users have flocked to the comments to share their reactions – with many people praising her for bringing awareness and others hoping it wasn’t real.
“Is this real fr? How,” April said.
Sharon added: “You’re my hero! Your amazing post going viral has stimulated much-needed conversation about women’s health care. Thank you.”
“Please tell me this is not real please because I’m scared,” another user commented.
Nola said: “Omg Ms. Tracey! Hot flashes are no joke but this is funny.”
“You just made a huge segment of us women feel seen,” Karina added.
Tracey, from Atlanta, US, started experiencing hot flashes in 2020.
She knew her body was going through a shift, but wasn’t entirely sure what was going on.
Now, though, with a bit more understanding, she’s finding methods to help ease her symptoms – and to blow off less steam.
She added: “I just went with the flow of things.
“[But now] the night sweats are worse, because I soak my pillow and sheets, so I’m constantly changing my bedding.
“I have to use my fan all year round, too.
“The funny thing is my mum used to get it and I would look at her and ask why she was sweating so much.
“She said [it was] hot flashes and I asked what she was taking for it.
“She said estrogen pills and of course, me being young, I didn’t know what she meant – but I do now.”
