An influencer has revealed how she styles her hair depending on the season – and her latest look is decidedly festive.
Maryaam Lewis-Herbert is a fashion and lifestyle content creator who has built up a following of over 20,000 thanks to her outlandish looks.
The 27-year-old has a tendency to coordinate her hairstyles with the changing seasons.

Unveiling her Christmas-themed look – which she describes as a candy cane meets Mrs Claus – Maryaam went viral with 450,000 views.
“My hair is an integral part of my brand and I love experimenting with new colours and styles,” the fashion buff, from Toronto, Canada, told What’s The Jam.
“I’ve loved all things related to hair since I was a kid.
“Usually people are very happy and excited to see me and my hair – it’s really endearing.”
In the video, posted to Instagram, Maryaam can be seen posing to the camera with her “candy cane” hair for Christmas – having coloured it red, white and dark colours to give a swirly, sweet-inspired look.

Maryaam captioned the post: “POV: You told your hairstylist that you want to look like a candy cane for the holidays.”
She described the look as “giving Mrs Claus”.
The post attracted 40,000 likes and hundreds of comments from fans.

In the past year, she has also shared a selection of her styles on Instagram, including a bright blue mixed with green for spring, and an orange crossed with brown for summer and autumn.
In her spring content, she can be seen styling her green and blue hair, while wearing a green dress and shoes to match.
In a summer video, Maryaam poses as she reveals her orange, brown and black hair, gathering over 1.8 million views.
In past years, she has also styled black, pink, white and purple hair.
Maryaam said of the response to her wild ‘dos: “Lots of people have been really positive about it all, but I do get some hate comments.
“Someone told me the other day that my hair was too much and too big!
“It doesn’t affect me though, I have thick skin.
“I think people need to have more fun with their hair, so express yourself!”
Maryaam plans on keeping her candy cane red hair all the way up to Christmas and has a plan for her New Year’s hairdo.
