An Ed Sheeran lookalike has revealed that his own toddler daughter confuses the artist for her dad.
Ty Jones is used to being mistaken for the British singer.
The Manchester native has been compared to the ‘Shape of You’ performer for years – and has leveraged the uncanny resemblance to build an audience of his own.

But it’s now gotten to the point where Ty’s three-year-old daughter, Cherry, who has the same name as Sheeran’s wife, confuses the pair.
She often believes that Ed Sheeran is her dad.
“She (Cherry) thinks [Ed] is me all the time,” Ty told What’s The Jam.

“My wife is a massive fan and has pictures up [of Ed around our house], so she [our daughter] thinks it’s [actually] pictures of me.
“I don’t mind. She’s only three years old and will learn.

“She’s dead cute with it.
“Cherry will soon learn I’m not Ed Sheeran when she sees we don’t have a Lambo outside.”
Ty has previously spoken about how people will often ‘recognise’ him in public and admits that it can be quite exhausting.

Cherry, who doesn’t always understand why her dad gets so much attention, also gets fussy when he is approached in the streets or asked for a photo.
He said: “It can be hard work at times.
“Sometimes I’m just not in the mood for it [being approached].
The lookalike recently shared a video of his daughter’s case of mistaken identity.
