A woman has proudly shown off her 12ft hairpiece after breaking the Guinness World Record for the world’s widest wig.
Helen Williams crafted the hairpiece that measures 11 ft 11 in (3.65m), wide and trails all the way to the floor.
The 31-year-old began working on the project in February, and it took her just over a month to complete.
At scale, the wig is comparable to the length of Mini Cooper, which comes in at 11ft 10in (3.63m), as reported by What’s The Jam.

Helen, from Nigeria, who also created the world’s longest wig, made the hairpiece from 800 bundles of auburn hair, and spent 4,138,200 Naira (£2,150) on the materials.
Although she did use a sewing machine for some parts, she primarily sowed it by hand, stitching it together on a framework using a needle and thread.
When it was done, she adorned the top pieces of the hair with more than 1,000 shining rhinestones.
Helen said she was inspired to take on the challenge after seeing actress and talkshow host Drew Barrymore, who once wore a record-breaking wide wig on TV.

However, she did face a few problems, including pain in her back, neck, and thighs from sitting and bending over so much as she worked on the wig. She also found the weight tough to bear when she tried on the wig.
The hairpiece is now on display in Helen’s office, where she plans to keep it.
The professional wig maker also holds the record for putting the most hair clips, 90, in a wig in 30 seconds.

She said: “I am very proud of myself. I now hold three records.”
