Three Lions supporters heading to the USA World Cup are making a beeline for a “British” pub – which serves “authentic” pints and snacks such as scotch eggs and sausage rolls.

Footie fanatics in search of a slice of home will be pleased to find a boozer that focuses on being an “authentic British gastropub”.

The pub is just 20 minutes away from England’s first venue at the World Cup – the Dallas Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

From Across The Pond, located in Colleyville, Texas, boasts a wide range of taps and meals to make Brits feel right at home on match day.

The interior of the pub is kitted out with Union Jack tables and walls, with a huge Big Ben beam in the middle of the room.

Pints of Old Speckled Hen, Bombardier, London Pride, Harp and Guinness are all available on draught.

However, From Across The Pond’s signature drink is their Pimm’s Cup, according to owner John Humphreys.

The controversial “black and tan” pint – a mixture of pale ale and stout – can also be ordered.

Cider can also be mixed in with a Guinness upon request at the bar.

To help soak up all that booze and line the stomach, punters can choose from a wide range of classic British dishes.

To start, scotch eggs with mustard or jalapeño ranch can be bought for £6.53 ($8.95 USD).

A portion of cottage pie and chips can also be ordered as an appetiser, for £10.18 ($13.95).

The classic fish and chips can be enjoyed for £15.29 ($20.95) while bangers and mash, chicken tikka masala and a sausage roll plate are set at £12.37 ($16.95) each.

For dessert, Brits can satisfy their sweet tooth with the beloved sticky toffee pudding at £8.72 ($11.95) or go for the classic bread and butter pudding for £7.99 ($10.95).

“Things get crazy around here at times,” John told What’s The Jam.

“Our signature drink is our Pimm’s Cup as well as an array of draught options, Old Speckled Hen, Bombardier, my personal favourite, London Pride as well as the standard Harp and Guinness.”

Asked who might win the World Cup, he added: “I am calling England early.”

The tournament kicks off on June 11.
