The creatures are NOT the side’s mascots and do not feature on their badges.

They have a dog mascot.

Woolly the plush mammoth equipped with a festive Ipswich Town scarf can be bought for £20.

The Suffolk town does have replica one in it’s museum.

But there is no connection to the football club which has a horse at games to entertain young fans.

One fan told What’s The Jam: “These soft toys are really cute.

“But it is bizarre because they have no relation to the clubs.

“Surely Brighton should stick to seagulls.

“And Wolves to Wolves.”

The odd collection of plushies can be found in the Christmas sections on the clubs websites.
