An influencer has been given the nod to cover the World Cup – despite her country failing to qualify for a third time in a row.
Eleonora Incardona has been called up to join a star-studded group of pundits and presenters in the States this summer.
The 36-year-old will be one of the few Italians making the trip across to the USA after the nation failed to make the tournament once again.

It has now been 12 years since the Gli Azzurri appeared at a World Cup, as reported by What’s The Jam.
The WAG will be leaving her partner Samuele Ricci at home as she swaps reporting on the Italian leagues to cover the greatest prize in football.
The 24-year-old AC Milan midfielder has been in a relationship with the influencer since 2024.

Eleonora will be part of the DAZN World Cup team.
The influencer boasts a whopping 1.4m Instagram followers, with fans swooning over her matchday and holiday snaps.

“An intense season, lived between Series A and Series B, between emotions, travels, stadiums and many stories to tell.

“But above all, a season shared with special people: colleagues that taught me something every day, great professionals and extraordinary travel companions.
“Congratulations to Monza for returning to Serie A and thanks to those who have followed us during these months.
“Now we give ourselves a little break and then we’re off again, because we’ll have an incredible summer and a World Cup all to live together on DAZN.”
