The world’s tallest woman has broken two more global records – after being born the longest baby.
Rumeysa Gelgi measures 7ft 0.59, with her height caused by a rare genetic condition called Weaver syndrome which causes bone overgrowth.
The 27-year-old is celebrating her 10th anniversary as a record holder, after being unveiled as the world’s tallest woman in 2014.

This week, she was awarded the title of world’s longest baby (female), born measuring 59cm (1ft 11in).
“I feel like this proves that I was born to break records,” Rumeysa, from Türkiye but currently living in the US, told What’s The Jam.
“I love it [when I get attention for my height].
“When I receive supportive messages from people or when they approach me to chat and take a picture together, I honestly feel so proud and content.
“This definitely keeps me going.”

Rumeysa said it was “pretty surprising though” to be handed her latest title, alongside having the longest ears on a female.
This makes her eighth world record, with the young woman also boasting titles covering having the longest finger on a living female at 11.2cm (4.4in), the widest hand span on a living female at 22.6cm (8.9in).
She also has the largest hands on a living female, with her right hand measuring 24.93cm (9.81in) and her left hand measuring 24.26cm (9.55in).

Rumeysa also has the longest back on a living female at 59.9cm (23.58in).
She was also previously awarded the tallest teenager living (female).
She said: “10 years ago I broke my first Guinness World Record ever as the tallest living female teenager.
“I’ve been lucky enough to obtain seven more world records over the last decade.
“All of them are related to my natural body form.
“It’s such a special feeling to be able to break 8 world records with the syndrome I was born with.
“I’m grateful to Guinness World Records for letting me to achieve that and so happy to celebrate our 10th anniversary together.”
While Rumeysa chooses to focus on the positives, her health has suffered as a result of her stature.
She previously said: “I’ve had to have serious surgeries and treatments to fix these [issues].
“I am using a wheelchair most of the time and only can walk with a walker.
“I also was bullied when I was younger because of the differences Weaver syndrome has brought me.”
Rumeysa also previously shared some of the struggles her elevated height brings, including having to spread out over six airplane seats when travelling.
At the time, she shared pictures of herself lying out with the safety belt attached while on an airplane.
