Think your commute is long?
A man has revealed how he spends over £1,100 a month and travels across four states to get to work.
Kyle Rice is a protocol architect at a tech company.
The 38-year-old, from New Castle, Delaware, loves his job so doesn’t mind the extreme circumstances.

But his wild daily ride – which includes a drive, a train and several swaps – has gone viral on TikTok, with over 1.4m viewers shocked by his dedication.
Kyle starts his day by getting up around 4.45am to play with his dog and get dressed.
He then drives to the Joseph R Biden Amtrak station in Wilmington, Delaware, before walking 100 yards to the platform and getting on the 6.33am train to New York City.
He then exits the train at 34th St and swaps for the NYC MTA Subway on the A or C line to the World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan.

Finally, he has to walk – but just one block to 1 Liberty Plaza.
He arrives at the office at 8.45am – four hours after he got out of bed.
“I work for a great boss and an amazing company,” he told What’s The Jam.

“The financial aspect is good and the professional development and learning experience have been second to none.
“Plus, I’ve barely ever had to deal with delays and if I have, they’ve been minor.
“I will continue to do the commute for as long as I am needed to do so; we have worked our lives around the few inconveniences it has made for it to be seamless now.”
When Kyle’s day is done, the route home takes another two hours.
When he was commuting every day of the week, the cost was around $1,400-$1,500 for unlimited rides.
Although he is dedicated to his fantastic job, Kyle is now trying to cut the commute down and spend less time in the office.
He said: “We tapered off from daily to weekly and now to bi-weekly.
“Making it [the cost] significantly less at around $400.” (£300).
In the clip shared to TikTok, Kyle can be seen stood at the train station while looking at the camera, as he says: “Come with me as I commute through four states to work in Manhattan, New York.”
The video has gathered over 83,000 likes, as well as 4,000 comments from users.
