A married couple with a 27-year age gap say they’re often mistaken for father and daughter.
Lindsey Hutchings, 29, met her 56-year-old husband, Gary, 10 years ago, while she was working on an adult webcam site.
The pair hit it off and after chatting on the phone for two months, Lindsey flew to see Gary. Five months into the relationship Gary proposed and the pair married in 2020.

The couple refused to give up on their love despite admitting they had been mistaken for father and daughter.
Gary, from Eugene, Oregon, says that trolls online have even branded him a paedophile and accused Lindsey, who is from Brentwood, California, of being a gold digger.
He said: “Trolls online have called me a paedophile or said that Lindsey is after my money. I don’t have any money.
“Most often, I don’t respond. There’s no point, they know it’s not correct. They’re just saying it to try to hurt people.
“If I respond, I tell them my wife has been an adult from the moment I met her.

“We always have eyes following us. Some look amused, some angry, some in admiration.
“People aren’t happy with the idea of us, but when they see us in person, there’s no doubt we truly love each other.
“You can’t let other people bother you. If it’s not the age gap thing, they’ll find some other reason to judge you.

“It’s sad they aren’t concentrating on their own lives.
“People try and hit on Lindsey not realising we’re together. In the grocery store, men will flirt with her and she’ll grab my arm, snuggle in and show her ring. You can see they get irritated.”
Lindsey added: “At first, I was drawn to his personality and he was very handsome. The age gap never came to my mind. As long as it’s legal and consensual.
“One time we were going to see Gary’s mother in hospital and the nurse called out that her son and his daughter were here.
“I said ‘Actually, I’m his wife’ and they said sorry. I find it amusing. It can be confusing for people.”
The couple, who work as adult entertainers, are trying to start a family despite their age gap so that Lindsey still has a piece of Gary when he ‘inevitably’ passes away before her, as reported on What’s The Jam.
Lindsey said: “I’m trying to get pregnant. I want to be a mother with a wonderful man.
“It doesn’t concern me that I’ll be around for longer than him. Even with his age, he’s healthier than a lot of people.
“He’s taught me so much in life. I’m ready to take on the responsibility.”
Gary already has two sons, David, 31, and Tommy, 27, who Lindsey says she sees as brothers rather than stepsons.
Lindsey said: “Gary having sons my age is pretty wonderful. They’re my family, they feel like brothers. I don’t try to be their mother but I give them advice as family.”
Gary added: “Lindsey had no desire to have children before we met and I didn’t want anymore because I didn’t want to be a grandad, but she wants to be a mother and I can’t deny her that. I’m healthier than most people in their forties.
“That’s an important part of the conversation. If something was to happen to me, she would have a piece of me. We discussed that before we got together, the inevitability of me going before her.”
