A modification fanatic has revealed her latest transformations despite her family asking her to stop – but says she loves the pain of getting inked.
Anu Karki, 26, grew up “obsessed” with body modifications and piercings, with her first aged only 15.
Since then, she’s split her tongue, had various stretchers (tunnels) and her favourite: getting her eyeballs inked completely black.

Now, she’s revealed that despite concerns from her friends and family, as well as people often “scared” by her look, she isn’t stopping anytime soon.
In fact, she’s “in love” with her new self.
“Every time I look at myself in the mirror, I just can’t take my eyes off,” Anu, a tattoo artist, told What’s The Jam.
“It’s like I’m loving myself more than I used to and I get the confidence for what I want to be.
“I am satisfied and happy about myself, [but] my friends and family [think] I’m going too far and taking insane risks.

“They sometimes ask me to stop [and] they’re sometimes overprotective, but they support me and respect my decision.
“People get scared looking at me sometimes.
“They stare so badly that I don’t feel good, but I don’t care about it.

“It’s my own freedom and it’s wonderful living life based on your personality.”
Anu, from Nepal, South Asia, has spent an estimated 475,000 Nepalese Rupee (£2,780) on her look in total.
She previously claimed she was the first in her country to get her eyeballs inked black.
Despite the risks involved, including going blind, she loves her eyes; so much so, that she’s getting them re-inked again.
Anu added: “It’s quite less inked, I want [them] to be more dark.
“I [also] got a tongue tattoo, it’s black and blue.
“I love the combination.
“I love that pain and how I am transforming myself as I wanted.
“I’ve got a bunch of body modifications I’m planning to get, [such as] hook suspension and then I will get a silicone impact on my beauty bone.
“There are so many things I want to have and I haven’t thought about the endpoint.”
