A nuclear bunker has hit the market for just £15,000, but it’s only spacious enough to fit three people inside.
Constructed in the 1950s, following World War II and during the Cold War, it was built in response to fears of potential nuclear attacks.
This particular bunker is one of only 1,500 ever made.

Purchasing it means owning a unique piece of British history.
And, this one carries its own distinct historical significance.
Known as the ROC Nuclear Bunker – part of a Royal Observer Post – this shelter was designed to provide accommodation in the event of a nuclear strike.
Those stationed in the bunker were reportedly supplied with enough food and water to survive for 14 days, all while keeping track of nuclear ‘bursts’ after an attack.
Inside, you’ll find memorabilia from the 1980s and other interesting features, including the original telephone and equipment instructions.

The bunker is located in Wormhill, near Buxton in Derbyshire.
It also came equipped with communication devices to use while inside, according to a report from Luxury Property News.
Still in its original state, the bunker is a rare find, but it has also been refurbished for potential buyers.

Updates include a log burner, stylish curtains, and even an ‘unused and still boxed chemical toilet’.
The storage and landing area measures 7ft 5 by 2ft 6, while the living and sleeping quarters offer 14ft 8 by 7ft 3, giving you ample space.
The property is set to go under the hammer at SDL Auctions, with bidding starting at 9am on 26 September, which can be followed online.
Viewings are available on 17 and 23 September from 10:30 to 11:30.
However, be aware of the 5% deposit and a 4.8% buyer’s fee – the latter doesn’t count towards the purchase price.
The sale will be unconditional, and the guide price ranges from £15,000 to £20,000. Additional fees might be included in the ‘special conditions of sale’.
