A studio flat where you have to climb a ladder to get into bed has hit the market for a staggering £1,885 a month.
The expensive price tag is almost certainly down to its central London location of Westminster.
But even so, for almost £2,000 you’d think you’d be able to comfortably jump into bed after a hard day at the office.
Sadly, this won’t be the case for whoever rents this studio, which will also see the tenant having to look past their large ladder-turned-staircase if they want to watch television in the small living room.

On the plus side though, the property, which is listed on OpenRent, does come with at least one large window, allowing for plenty of natural light.
The interior is also relatively modern and, unlike in some studio flats, the kitchen appears to be equipped with all the essential appliances.
But perhaps best of all, this price tag does, mercifully, include bills.
The listing reads: “We are proud to offer this delightful 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom studio flat in a great location.

“Available to move in from 03 April 2024.
“Property is offered furnished.
“Viewing highly recommended.”

The studio flat also comes with its own bathroom, complete with a shower.
But as you can imagine, getting up to go to the toilet at night would be a bit of a nightmare when you’ve got a ladder to climb down.
Unfortunately, the studio isn’t necessarily cheap for the area either, and other OpenRent apartments in the same location are available for around the same price.
