A seven-bedroom house is on the market for £650,000, but there is a catch… it may be difficult to get into.

The three-storey pad has a typical front door with a flight of stairs leading up to it.

But on the second floor, there is another mystery front door around the back.

It has no stairs and appears to be a hazard if the new owner were to open it.

However, another bizarre door is on the second floor that leads to nowhere.

It also does not have stairs leading to the ground.

The property, in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire also comes with three bathrooms.

Although it has seven bedrooms and large reception areas, the home is in need of a modern update.

There are broken wardrobes and chest of draws in several of the bathrooms.

In some rooms, the wallpaper appears to be peeling off.

It is set to sell for £650,000.

But Hurst Estate Agents, who are marketing the property say it could be transformed into a HMO.

The listing reads: “A rare opportunity to acquire this four-storey property that sits on an elevated, corner plot position and is located to the west side of High Wycombe, siding the National Trust Parkland and Dashwood estate.

”The property that was built in 1912 offers versatile accommodation across four floors and would make an ideal family home or has huge investment potential to convert into a large HMO or possible conversion into flats (subject to obtaining the relevant planning permission).

”This striking property does require a degree of redecoration and modernisation throughout but has recently had the roof completely replaced and an internal viewing is recommended.

”The accommodation includes an entrance hall, fitted kitchen, sitting room, dining room, study, cloakroom, seven bedrooms and two bathrooms.

”The property also benefits from front and rear gardens, gas central heating, balcony, parking to the rear and is also offered to the market with no onward chain.”
