Facebook users have been left stunned by a “nightmare” house listing – which shows the £454,000 ($560,000 USD) property jam packed with creepy artwork.
The four-bedroom, three-bathroom property is in Colorado Springs, US, and while the outside is rather unassuming, appearing to be a charming neighbourhood home, inside is a whole other story.
Each room is decorated in garish colours, with artwork adorning the walls and funky furniture rammed inside.
Rather creepy pieces include a large grinning face on the living room wall, a stack of furry squares lining another wall, and a mural of sour-faced children with the word ‘Smile!’ next to it.

Meanwhile elsewhere, the kitchen-diner is painted neon green with patchwork cabinets, while another wall is covered in dozens of soft toys.
One bedroom’s walls appear to be completely covered in fur, while another room has a poster advertising ‘America’s largest circus sideshow presents strange people entertaining in person’.
A pig with a human-like face also features in another bedroom, while a neon pink furry hallway leads to more artistic expression.
The listing went viral on Facebook, garnering 6,000 likes and thousands of comments – where viewers were left bemused by the strange interior.
One person commented: “I would like to meet and observe the owners. I’m so curious.”

“This is what an anxiety attack feels like,” another person joked.
Someone else said: “This listing smells like pot smoke and nag champa and paint fumes.” [sic]
“I hope the words “whimsical”, “maximalist”, “”artistic”, and “eclectic” were used repeatedly in description!” another user quipped.

One person added: “I didn’t know Tim Burton did interior design.”
“I’d need Xanax to live here,” said another viewer.
One critic said: “Excuse me why I go bleach my eyes.”
Someone else even dubbed the home “deeply disturbing” and commented on the amount of money it would likely need to remove the art from the walls.
Another user commented: “I wasn’t aware that a third-hand contact high was possible through a screen, but my eyeballs are now vibrating in their sockets and I have no other logical explanation.”
“What a nightmare. If you’re going to do that to your home, you need to plan to live there FOREVER and let the home become your funeral pyre when you die, because no one else is ever going to want to deal with redecorating your funhouse. This is a complete demo job,” said another critic.
But other users were rather taken with the quirky home.
One person commented: “I love everything about this except the kitchen cabinets.”
“Ok. So this person lived unapologetically as themselves. While I hate their choices, I am in awe of the confidence and self-expression. Hats off,” another fan said.
Someone else added: “Honestly this is how I imagined my house would be when I was a kid. I applaud the owner for living their best life lol.”
“That’s the most unique decore I’ve ever seen. It’s hideous and beautiful all at the same time,” another viewer commented. [sic]
If you aren’t put off by the artwork, the property is available with ERA Shields Real Estate for $560,000.
