A stunned tenant claims her landlord demolished her entire bathroom without warning and dumped the bathtub in the garden.
Maggie Poost said she contacted her landlord to report a small leak in her bath, who then sent a plumber around.
But instead of a quick fix, the 25-year-old watched in disbelief as the entire bathroom was ripped out – with footage of the moment going viral online, with 1.5m views.

Maggie was having breakfast with her friend Juliette Carbonnier, 24, when they noticed the plumber removing every single fixture.
The pair says he then left, leaving nothing behind but a gaping hole in the floor where the bath once stood.
“We saw the plumber slowly but surely take everything out from the bathroom – the towels, toiletries, shower curtain, the toilet, the cabinet, the bathtub,” Juliette, from New York, told What’s the Jam.

“We literally watched him carry stuff out and we were laughing but also so confused.
“Next thing we knew, the plumber left and the entire bathroom was gone, including the floor.

“All that was left was a small art poster on the wall.
“Needless to say, the leak wasn’t fixed because there was no more tub.
“No more bathroom at all.

“It wasn’t until later, when we walked out of the house, that we saw that the tub, toilet and floorboards had been dumped right outside on the lawn.
“We were shocked and confused.”
Maggie claims that when she rang her landlord, they confirmed they had ordered a “full demolition” of the bathroom without giving her any notice.
A month later, the bathroom still has not been rebuilt and the bath remains dumped in the garden.
The friends shared clips of the bathroom fixtures strewn across the grass on social media, where they quickly racked up more than 1.5m views.
Juliette said the reaction had taken them completely by surprise.
She added: “We were shocked by how much attention people have paid to the video series.
“We are happy that others have been able to laugh and commiserate with us.
“Many people assumed that the plumber had stolen copper pipes or had some bad intent, but that was not the case at all.
“It was an unfortunate misunderstanding with the landlord.
“The plumber is an innocent man.”
Social media users were quick to joke about the bizarre situation.
One person said: “Bathrooms prefer a few hours outside every day for exercise and fresh air.”
Someone else said: “So did he throw it out the window? Looks like it.”

A third person added: “The bathroom is auditioning to be an abstract artist.”
Another user said: “You told me that he took the entire bathroom, but I was still not prepared for what I saw.”

Grace joked: “Wait I’m crying how the hell did he walk out of the house with your toilet and shower without you noticing.”
