A lavish estate, once owned by a renowned celebrity, has recently been listed on the market and has since sold for a staggering $14 million.
Michelle Pfeiffer, widely recognized as one of Hollywood’s highest-earning actresses, has built an impressive portfolio of properties over the years.
The Scarface actress, along with her husband, David E. Kelley, reportedly purchased this exclusive estate for $22 million a few years ago after selling another home for $9.1 million.

Both properties are situated in the highly desirable Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles, a location where Pfeiffer has made several real estate investments.
Back in the 1980s, Pfeiffer owned a sprawling equestrian estate that spans 3.3 acres and includes five distinct buildings, according to Luxury Property News.
The estate was originally constructed for Will Rogers, a Golden Age star who was also one of Hollywood’s top-earning actors in the 1930s.
Rogers had a prolific career, starring in over 50 silent films, 21 talkies, and penning more than 4,000 newspaper columns, alongside a controversial comedy career.
In addition to his many talents, Rogers served as the Mayor of Beverly Hills and was an aviation enthusiast. Unfortunately, his passion for flying led to his tragic death in a plane crash in 1935.

Despite his various pursuits, Rogers had a keen eye for real estate.
The estate includes a main house, a staff house, a pool house, stables, and a guest house.
Spanning 6,250 square feet, the property features multiple bedrooms, a two-level library, and numerous seating areas.

The interior is characterized by high ceilings and rustic wooden beams that contrast with the pristine white walls.
Dark hardwood floors complement the open-floor plan and minimalist furnishings, exuding a sense of luxury in every room.

Outside, the gardens are lined with trees and shrubbery, offering ultimate privacy from neighboring properties.

An al fresco dining area is nestled toward the back of the manicured gardens, with another flower-lined walkway guiding guests through the rest of the estate.

The estate’s most recent owners expanded the home and enlisted the help of interior designer Michael S. Smith, who notably remodeled Barack Obama’s Oval Office in 2010.
Despite its tranquil atmosphere, the estate is just a short distance from the bustling heart of Los Angeles and boasts a neighborhood that includes celebrities like Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, Whoopi Goldberg, and Matt Damon.
The property has now been sold by F. Ron Smith and David Berg of Smith & Berg Partners at Compass for $14 million.
