An urban explorer has discovered an abandoned luxury hotel where a former US president stopped off.
When he found the property, Dave, who enjoys inspecting deserted homes as a side hustle, was stunned at the sheer size.
He claims the hotel, known as The Niagra, opened in 1924 in New York, and was once a majestic symbol of opulence and luxury.

However, as time passed, so did the hotel’s glory days.
The once-thriving landmark gradually succumbed to neglect and decay, ultimately closing for good in 2007.
Dave, who runs a YouTube channel and his own website called Freaktography, shared images online of his incredible find, as reported by What’s The Jam.
He has a full-time job in marketing and a family, but sometimes spends the night in deserted jails, decaying churches or long-forgotten hotels.
“Throughout its illustrious history, the hotel has played host to numerous prominent figures, including celebrities like Marilyn Monroe, Joe Dimaggio, Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr,” Dave, from Burlington, Ontario, said.

“Guest’s have also included politicians such as US President John F Kennedy.
“And even gangsters such as Al Capone.”
In the images, the hotel can be seen in complete decay, with wallpaper stripping from walls, ceilings falling to rubble and dirty floors.

The entrance is completely sparse, with no furniture or decor left behind, just an empty space.
A beautiful, red carpet can also be seen still laid on the staircase, but sadly encased in dust and dirt.
The function rooms are also completely empty, with its once stunning wallpaper falling from the walls and graffiti covering another.
He also found a shoe polishing station, still fit with a bench and shoe rests.
Dave said: “Boasting 400 rooms, the hotel quickly became a premier destination for travelers seeking breathtaking views and a taste of high-end hospitality.
“Its glamorous ballrooms witnessed extravagant events and lavish parties, creating memories that echoed through the corridors for decades.
“The decline began in the mid-20th century, as changing travel trends and economic challenges took their toll.
“The once-thriving landmark gradually succumbed to neglect and decay, ultimately closing for good in 2007.
“Today, the Hotel stands as a hauntingly beautiful relic of the past.
“Its dilapidated facade and empty rooms serve as a silent testament to the passage of time and the inevitable changes that befall even the grandest establishments.
“Despite dozens of restoration efforts proposed over the years, the hotel remains abandoned, frozen in a state of suspended history.
“Its ghostly halls echo with the memories of a bygone era, leaving us to wonder about the untold stories that once unfolded within its walls.”
