A home built by Johnny Cash for his son has gone on the market for $6.25 million.
The famous singer-songwriter and his wife, June Carter Cash, commissioned the late famous builder Braxton Dixon to build the home for their son Johnny Carter Cash in 1987.
At the time, their son was just a teenager, but now he is known for following in his father’s footsteps to also become a Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, musician, and producer.
He is now selling the property built for him by his famous parent.

Known as DogWood Estate, the restored 18th-century style log cabin is located on a thickly wooded 21-acre area in Hendersonville, Tennessee, about 30 minutes outside of downtown Nashville.
The three-storey house is set in a small clearing of land nestled amongst a huge expanse of wooded area.
The home boasts two bedrooms and three bathrooms, compassing 4,300 sq ft.
Its decor gives a rustic feel to the place, with exposed wooden walls, stained glass windows, wood fireplaces, and pine floorboards.

In the lounge area, there is brown leather furniture, oak fans, dark wood panelling, and an open fireplace, offering a homey feel.
The downstairs also has a kitchen and office.
Meanwhile, upstairs, the master suite comes with its own seating area, a 30-foot cathedral ceiling, a fireplace, a roomy dressing area, and an en suite with a claw-footed, freestanding bathtub.

The other bedroom comes with a double four-poster bed, oak furniture, and rugs to keep the warmth in.
Outside, which can also be reached via the porch coming from the kitchen, there is a huge patio area with outdoor furniture, making it the perfect spot to entertain guests while being surrounded by trees and nature.
There are also steps that take you up to a woodland walk and birdhouses for the next lucky buyer to admire the wildlife.
On the land, there is also a cabin which stands apart from the house.
There’s a large room joined by a porch, along with a lofted area.
There is no kitchen or bathroom, so it’s perhaps best suited as a place for quiet relaxation or as a music studio or creative space.
The property is listed with Erin Krueger from Compass Realty for $6,250,000 (£4,887,100).
