A Grade-II Listed home with books in every room except the toilet is on market for £990,000.

The picturesque, three-bed pad spans 2,000 sq ft over five storeys.

The terraced home has packed book shelves in its own library.

But there are more in the living room and dining room.

They even line the hallway and stairs.

Plus there are books in the bedrooms.

Dating back to the 18th century, the property includes Georgian features including large sash windows and fireplaces.

However, the most eye-catching feature is the floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, as reported on What’s The Jam.

The owners appear to be running out of room when storing their books as they are packed in everywhere, except the bathroom.

The property, in Cotham, Bristol costs £990,000.

It was listed on the market by Inigo and appears on On The Market.

The listing makes no mention about the mass of books.

It reads: “This three-bedroom Grade II-listed terrace house is a fine example of Georgian architecture in Bristol’s Cotham and Redland Conservation Area.

”Unfolding behind an elegant 18th-century façade, the house spans 2,000 sq ft over five storeys, where light pours in through sash windows to illuminate original carved fireplaces, niches and decorative moulding.

”Gardens at the front and the rear of the house are lush with rambling roses, magnolia and clematis.

”An abundance of independent shops, grocers and cafés on Cotham Hill are within a few minutes’ walk from the house, as are local train stations with services to Temple Meads, from which trains run to London in just over an hour and a half.”
