A bedroom in a house share is being let for £1,400 per month but the tenant is only allowed to work from home one day per week.

It is in a three-bed, mid-terraced house which appears pleasant and standard from the outside.

Inside it includes large, wide windows letting light beam into the rooms.

The kitchen includes a tasteful marble top and a hob with five rings included.

It also boasts a microwave and large American style fridge-freezer.

Inside the living room it is modern and well-decorated with blue painted walls, plants and mirrors.

There is also space outside closed off a small, walled garden with accompanying table and chairs.

There is only one bathroom between three people so tenants would have to share despite the hefty rent.

However, it is also tastefully decorated with marble tiles, and sink, toilet, shower and bath.

The room being rented out is near Victoria Park, Hackney, east London and it’s being advertised on Spareroom.

But there is one strange rule, due to it’s size, working from home is limited.

WFH has increased in popularity since the Covid-19 pandemic when it was enforced for millions of Brits due to lockdowns.

The property description reads “Newly refurbished house that overlooks Victoria Park and is ten minutes walk into the village.

“Beautiful location and house with open plan living room, dining room and kitchen.

“You will be sharing with lovely friendly lady who’s there Monday to Friday

“Other tenant is a 30-year-old man who works in recruitment

“The space isn’t really suitable for remote working, but one day per week could possibly work.

“I want to find a person who is easy to live with and brings good energy.”

Rental properties in the area vary between £392 and £1,154 per week.

This makes the room in this house share slightly below.

But tenants are restricted due to not being able to work remotely in this property.
