London renting in 2024 is an extreme sport.

A new studio has hit the market and it shows just how far your cash will take you in the capital… that is, not very far at all.

The tiny flat, located on Camden High Street, is available to rent at a whopping £1,500 a month

But the bedroom area of the flat is only just big enough to house a single bed, a small bedside cabinet and a half-size wardrobe.

Directly across from the sleeping quarters is the ‘kitchen’, which consists of a fridge, microwave oven and grill, and kettle.

The living area, meanwhile, is nothing more than a table and marble unit.

There is a modern bathroom with a shower but the listing does not specify if it is a part of the flat itself.

So you’d have to book a viewing to discover whether to not it is shared.

On the upside, the home comes furnished.

Bills are also included, and there’s WiFi and air conditioning, as well as a washing machine and tumble dryer.

On the downside, the flat is, unsurprisingly, listed as unsuitable for anyone with a pet.

The exact size of the flat is not specified on the listing but the pictures paint a bleak picture of the London rental market.
