A young girl’s cute drawing has led to the rescue of her gran’s missing puppy.

Emilia lost her pooch while she was sweeping the step outside her home.

She accidentally left the front door ajar and the dog, named Pirate Morgan, squeezed through the gap and ran away.

Emilia gave chase but was unable to catch her rapid dog.

The pooch was captured and safely returned to Emilia, as reported by What’s the Jam.

A family friend said on Facebook: “As you know, a few hours ago we published a local girl’s drawing of her little dog called Pirate Morgan who had gone missing.

“The family confirmed to us that the dog has been returned and that it was thanks to everyone’s support.
