A tourist was left in hysterics after a monkey stole her phone.
In footage that has gone viral on TikTok, the monkey the woman is enjoying a scenic day out when the primate nabs her device.
The monkey can be seen walking on the ground and rushing up a tree, phone in hand, before it turns it to selfie-mode and we catch a glimpse of the perpetrator’s face.
Luckily, the tourist was able to get her phone back two hours later after the cheeky monkey dropped it and disappeared.

The clip was filmed in Phuket Island, Thailand, and garnered over 550,000 views.
