A stunned man found around 20 bats nesting in his shoe.
The shocked fella left his footwear on the balcony and discovered they had been occupied by dozens of winged mammals.
The bats were sleeping peacefully in a smelly work boot.

The unnamed resident informed the police and a team of eco officers arrived at his home in the Polish capital Warsaw.
A spokesperson for Warsaw City Guard said there were around 20 bats in the footwear.
“Although the view was sweet, it was not a safe place to hibernate,” they joked.
The colony of bats was handed over to experts who will create peaceful and safe wintering conditions for them.
The man willingly sacrificed his shoes so as not to disturb their sleep, as reported by What’s The Jam.

One local joked: “What brand of shoes? Seem very comfortable.”
“Luckily he didn’t put his foot in it,” quipped Agnieszka
Astrid said: “Aww, poor little bats just looking for a warm place to sleep.”

“They were cold and his shoe was like the closest thing they could find resembling a warm haven!” she added.
In April this year, a gran was shocked after hunting for her lost dentures only to find her dog wearing them.
The elderly woman was holding one half of her false teeth as she rummaged through her bedroom drawers to find the other.
The mystery was solved when she saw the family’s Samoyed wearing them in his mouth.
The pooch, named 007, looked shaken but not stirred as he sat there with a big grin on his face.
The funny scene was filmed at the gran’s home in Fujian, southwest of Shanghai, China.
