An adorable rescue dog has become a social media star – thanks to incredible markings on her ear which look just like her.
Seven-year-old Pitbull Terrier mix, Lucy, was born with a “selfie” on her ear – a white mark with black dots for eyes and mouth.
The incredible markings resemble the sweet pet’s face, leading to the nickname ‘Selfie Pup’.
Her owner, Cassidy Johnson, 26, adopted her in 2017 but didn’t spot her ‘self-portrait’ until later.

“We didn’t notice her ear until we took her to the pet store for some treats and toys after adopting her, and one of the workers recognised her from a post the shelter had made about her ear,” Cassidy, a stay-at-home mum from Clarksville, Tennessee, US, told What’sTheJam.com.
The pooch was born in a shelter in October 2016 after her mum was rescued off the streets while pregnant, according to her owner.
Cassidy started sharing pictures of her on Instagram, and Lucy has built a following of over 10,000 people – often going viral showing off her ear.
One fan commented: “Oh my goodness soooo beautiful I never saw anything like that.”

Others described Lucy’s ear as “incredible” and “adorable”.
“Lucy takes her passport with her everywhere she goes,” joked someone else.
Cassidy added: “For the most part people love seeing her ear and find it very unique but of course we get some trolls every once in a while, assuming it’s Photoshopped.”
