A rare “dinosaur” bird deemed to be one of the most dangerous in the world has been born in a UK zoo.
The cassowary is known for its muscular legs, powerful feet and sharp claws.
And, it’s earned the reputation of being one of the most dangerous birds in the world.

Native to Australia and New Guinea, the flightless bird resembles a dinosaur, reports What’s The Jam.
Now, since 2004, a new chick has hatched at Paignton Zoo in Devon – and the first in Europe this year.
The birds are surprisingly devoted parents, with its father, Madrid, taking on all the newborn duties.
It’s marked an incredible achievement for the zoo, as they are the only institution in the European breeding programme to successfully hatch a cassowary this year.
Their other breeding wins include the endangered pink pigeon, hamerkop, scarlet ibis, crowned canes and several species of thrush.
