A puppy had to be rescued by firefighters after getting her head stuck in a wall.
Four-month-old Teale became wedged after sticking her head through an extractor vent for a tumble dryer.
The labrador’s worried owners called emergency services in a desperate bid to free her.
Using small tools, firefighters were able to free the four-month-old pup in Longdown, near Carlisle, Cumbria yesterday (27 Jun).

Remarkably she escaped unharmed.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: “Carlisle East were mobilised to a property in Longtown, to reports of a young dog with its head stuck in a wall.
“The crew were greeted by a mischievous four-month-old labrador puppy called Teale.
“Who had found herself in a predicament by getting her head stuck in an extractor vent for a tumble dryer, and was feeling very sorry for herself.
“Fortunately crews managed to remove Teale with minimal fuss using small tools, and she was no worse for wear for her ordeal.

“She was very appreciative, and rewarded the crew with lots of cuddles and licks.”
Locals praised emergency workers while poking fun at the pup.
Sharon Young said: “Aw bless her but talk about being caught in the act.”

Roz Owens said: “Oh Teale, you plonker.
“Glad you’re out safely and probably being spoiled rotten.”
