A pesky opossum was spotted dangling from a ceiling wire in a supermarket.
The marsupial was filmed by a stunned shopper.
The opossum apparently knocked down a ceiling tile under its own weight.

The poor fella clutched onto a cable and dangled several metres above the floor.
It clung on for dear life as it stretched out its little legs for better balance.
Onlookers said the furry creature eventually dropped to the ground but appeared unharmed, as reported by What’s The Jam.
It was last seen scurrying out of the supermarket in the coastal resort of Armação dos Búzios near Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, last Wednesday (16 Apr).
One local joked: “He’ll soon get a loyalty card!”

Rony added, “Terrible cameraperson for not filming the fall!”
“Instead of filming, they could have helped the little fella or called the fire brigade to remove it”, Patricia remarked.
Carlos said, “There must be a nest in the ceiling.”

Jorge added, “It’s about to fall, it’s too heavy from eating so many pickles in the supermarket!”
“Opossums deserve respect because they eat bugs and poisonous snakes,” Mauro said.
