A woman has revealed that people think she’s gone “crazy” after turning her spare room into her dogs’ very own bedroom.
Lexi Knight, 25, believes in spoiling her pooches, as it’s a way to “repay” them for all the unconditional love and happiness they give.
But the hairstylist’s latest gift has left people questioning her sanity – including her grandma.

Along with her fiancé, Dalton Butler, 29, they’ve turned a once empty space into a hub for their furry pals, Whiskey, six, and Gypsy, two, to relax and unwind in.
And although it’s not to everyone’s taste, it’s racked up over 27,000 likes on Facebook.
“The ones who get it, get it,” Lexi told What’s The Jam.
“My grandma has grown to like the idea, but she thought I had lost my mind at first when I wanted to design them a whole bedroom.
“We worked so hard on the room, so I was excited to get their reaction.
“They both went straight to the beds and plopped down.
“It made me feel like all of our hard work had paid off – they love it.
“I work from home most days, so I let them go outside and play if the weather allows, before they come inside and chill with me.
“But when it’s time for bed, I just say: ‘Let’s go to y’all’s room’ and they follow me right into their beds.
“It’s truly the cutest thing.”
Lexi, from North Carolina, US, has always been around dogs growing up, so it was a no brainer that she was going to have ones of her own.
Joining Whiskey and Gypsy is Cowboy, aged one, but as he’s very young, he doesn’t yet have a space in the bedroom.
The project was centred around the idea of having a space dedicated for them in the house and after gathering inspiration on Pinterest, they knew exactly what to do.
Firstly, they purchased two toddler beds from IKEA, costing £64 each, along with two mattresses for £65 each.
The dog covered wallpaper was bought from Temu and the two regal portraits of both pooches, which hang above their respective beds, were made in Photoshop.
Other items, including the dresser, were thrifted and little figurines for a touch of decoration were snapped up from TJ Maxx.
On the post, Lexi wrote: “It’s their world, I’m just living in it.”
Under a picture of the completed bedroom, users shared their thoughts.
Becky said: “Dang, I thought my cats’ room was extra. I need to up my game.”
“If I won the lottery, there would be signs,” Mia added.
Manny commented: “My dog saw this and called me poor.”
“Not me screenshotting this as house inspiration for my own room, I love this haha,” Ayanna added.
Hailey said: “I strive to be this level of dog mom one day.”
“Tell me our dogs are our kids without telling me, this is too cute,” Gabi commented.
Lexi also spoils them in other ways, with each dog having their own “special treatment”.
From clothes to a constant flow of treats, these pooches are definitely living a luxurious life.
And she believes other dog owners should be doing the same.
She added: “Dogs deserve the world, [people should] absolutely spoil their pets in this way.
“Every time I’m in a store buying stuff, I always end up bringing them home something.
“We are their lives and how we treat them is all they will ever know.
“They are truly man’s best friend – and woman’s, of course.
“Nothing brightens our day more than coming home from work and being greeted by the sweetest kisses and tail wags.”
