A baby shark has been born – giving visitors to an aquarium a rare “magical moment”.
In a video, shared online, the newborn can be seen emerging from its mother.
After being birthed, the shark pup descends tail first before softly touching the bottom of its tank.

Then, finding its fins, it shoots off in the distance enjoying its first swim.
A young boy can be seen running towards the glass enclosure and pointing at the pup, excited by the spectacle.
The footage was captured at the Dubai Aquarium by Emaar, in the UAE, which is one of the largest suspended aquariums in the world.
“Witnessing a baby shark come to life this morning at our aquarium was such a magical moment,” a spokesperson told What’s The Jam.
Viewers were equally amazed by footage.
