A marooned dog trapped between two walls at a seafront tourist attraction sparked a major rescue operation.
The Jack Russell, called Benny, got wedged tight after running into a hole.
Fire crews along with an urban search and rescue team used specialist cameras to locate the two-year-old pooch.

They had to cut through bricks to reach Benny and reunite him with his anxious owner.
It happened at Southsea Model Village, Portsmouth, as reported by What’s The Jam.
A Southsea Model Village spokesperson said: “The opening could not previously be blocked as it was believed to be an old fox den.
“This could have ended very differently and we want to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone involved in Benny’s rescue.
“A huge thank you to Fire and Rescue, whose calm, professional and methodical approach ensured Benny was located, reached and brought out safely.

“From specialist camera equipment to carefully breaching the wall, the operation was handled with absolute care and compassion.
“The vent has now been securely boarded up and we can confirm there are no animals inside – no dogs, no foxes, and no secret underground society of badgers.
“All clear.

“Benny is safe, the wall is sealed, and lessons have definitely been learned.
“Benny has been rescued, debriefed, and politely asked not to do that again.
“We learned two important things.
“Old air vents are not a shortcut to the village.
“Benny is braver than he is sensible.”
A Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire sand Rescue Service spokesperson said Benny escaped with minor scrapes and scratches.
