A jet-setting dog has been on 80 fights travelling the world – all before his 3rd birthday.

Winston – a Pembroke Welsh Corgi – has been to nine countries in total – including The Bahamas, Mexico, France and Italy.

Owner Maddie Orourke always ensures he travels in style – accompanying him in business class and even a private jet.

The pampered pooch is just over two-and-a-half-years-old yet he has been on more plane trips than the average Brit.

Maddie, 34, of Bedfordshire has always loved to travel and has visited a whopping 42 countries herself.

But when her health took a turn for the worst – due to having regular seizures Maddie was forced to take a break from globetrotting.

However, Winston was able to step in and task-trained as her service dog.

He can detect the change in body odour, which then prompts him to alert Maddie to put herself into a safe environment and position.

This allowed Maddie to feel more comfortable flying with her adorable Corgi by her side.

As he is a service dog, there is no fee for Winston to travel with Maddie.

Maddie said: “Since having him in my life, I felt confident to travel again and find travelling even more enjoyable, showing him some of my favourite places.

”Winston and I have travelled to nine countries

”Our favourite place is Italy, it’s the most dog-friendly country we’ve travelled to and it makes travelling stress-free when dogs are welcome.

”Winston has travelled on a private jet, which was an incredible experience.

”When you fly private you can drive straight to the plane, so you don’t have to deal with the regular airport process, which can be stressful.

”When you land someone meets you at the plane to check your dog’s paperwork, so you don’t have to wait at the airport to be cleared.

“Other perks include no leash needed, so your dog can roam free in the cabin.

”He had a sofa all to himself and was treated by the flight attendants like a king.

”He even got to visit the flight deck and sit in the pilot’s seat when we landed.”

Wherever Winston goes, he receives VIP treatment and has stayed at lavish hotels across the world.

During a visit to New York City, the Corgi even got to ride in his own yellow (pet) cab to see Times Square and stayed in a pet-friendly chamber suite at Virgin Hotels.

When visiting Paris, Maddie checked the pair into a luxury hotel with views of the Eiffel Tower – where Winston was given his own bed.

Maddie – who currently lives with Winston in Miami Beach, Florida – has also travelled back to the UK as well as Ireland and Scotland.

She paid £42.85 for a European pet passport that allows him to travel to the EU without paying extra for his health certificates.

But before the passport, Maddie admits she was forking out up to approx £395 for a health certificate every time she travelled to Europe.

Winston must also have up-to-date vaccines to travel and the price of these vary depending on where he receives them.

Maddie said: ”Traveling with a dog, pet or assistant dog, can be overwhelming at first because there’s a lot of conflicting information on the internet.

“The best place to start is checking the country’s government website on their animal import regulations and contacting your local vet to see if they have experience in international travel documents.

“The travel experience itself takes a little more planning, as you need to find dog-friendly hotels and activities.

”We have plans to do a US road trip next year and are hoping to go to Japan. “
